Hillary Biscay’s life has always been intertwined with movement, discipline and the pursuit of big goals. From her years racing Ironman professionally (she's raced 66 Iron-distance triathlons!) to coaching endurance athletes at Biscay Coaching and co-founding Smashfest Queen, Hillary has built a career at the intersection of athletic performance and community. These days, she’s also channeling her client-service skills into real estate with the O’Byrne Team at Compass in San Diego - all while raising four kids and caring for five rescue pups.

Tell us about yourself – What are your personal passions or hobbies outside of work?

I’m a busy mom of four kiddos - Madison (8), Hill (7), Aymellia (5) and Ellie (5). My career has been rooted in endurance sports, from racing Ironman professionally to coaching endurance athletes and outfitting them through Smashfest Queen. I love living vicariously through our athletes and supporting them in pursuing their big scary goals. Most recently, I’ve leveraged my passion and experience in client services to build a real estate business with the O’Byrne Team here in San Diego.

What role does health and wellness play in your life?

Health and wellness have shaped my life for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid, I would invent workouts in my parents’ pool and gym just for fun during playdates. I studied elite athletes, paying close attention to the habits that made them great and tried to incorporate those lessons into my own life. Today, health and wellness mean taking care of my body and mind so I can be my best for my kids.

Tell us about your health protocol – What does your fitness routine look like?

My fitness routine is my lifeline. I’m up most mornings at 4:45 AM to get a workout in before the day becomes all about my kids and my clients. That early start is my secret weapon. Most days, I meet girlfriends to run or lift and one to two times per week I’ll jump into an OrangeTheory class. Accountability is key for me now - I will never skip a scheduled workout with a friend or a class I’ve signed up for.

What’s a fun fact about yourself that people might not expect?

In addition to our four human kiddos, we also have five rescue pups who are a constant source of joy in our home.
